Glazed partitions have many excellent properties and always look good in situ, in commercial and institutional buildings alike. DIFFERENT PROPERTIES - THE SAME EXPRESSION

For Illums Bolighus' new flagship store in Lyngby Storcenter, DEKO has supplied and installed DEKO FG Fire Profile glazed partitions, providing certified fire resistance of up to EI 120 and fire-classified DEKO AG aluminium glass framed doors. The fire-classified glazed partitions are finished with dark profiles, helping to create an attractive architectural contrast with the glazed surface. For other areas, classic fully glazed partitions have been supplied in the same design with the same dark profiles so that consistency of appearance is maintained all round.

The same applies at IKEA Copenhagen, where DEKO has been responsible for both the shop floor and the adjoining office areas. For the store itself, we have supplied fire-classified doors and glazed partitions with aluminium profiles, which help to frame the glass in lighter tones. The offices, meanwhile, have been created using the same aluminium profiles but with sound-reducing DEKO FG Silent glazed partitions to optimise working spaces that require calm and concentration.

At Herlev Bymidte Center, which underwent a major transformation in 2023, DEKO was also responsible for the interior carpentry as well as the supply and installation of classic glazed partitions. In contrast to IKEA and Illums Bolighus, however, the centre wanted completely transparent glass. As a consequence, DEKO FG Clear fully glazed partitions have been installed for facades facing walkways, where the joints in the glass are invisible to the naked eye.

DEKO not only supplies classic glazed partitions, but other solutions such as our supply and installation of glazed sliding doors to the parking facility at IKEA. We also offer other glazed products that go far beyond what is normal when it comes to functionality.

As well as to multiple shopping centres around the country, we have supplied flexible room dividers to a host of clients including Bygma, Plantorama, Elgiganten and Eventyr & Sport. Here, our DEKO MV Glass mobile partitions have been particularly popular for facades facing pedestrian areas, where stores may need to open and close easily, independently of the rest of the centre.
