Red Warehouse is - like many other iconic buildings in Carlsberg Byen - a monument to the historic industrial Copenhagen of the past. While the original buildings remain, beer is no longer brewed behind the walls.

After a gentle, thorough transformation, the old beer warehouse in the Red Warehouse has officially been transformed into a prestigious office domicile, where the focus has been on preserving the historic architecture and at the same time creating better access to and distribution of natural daylight.

Wood and glass bring warmth and light inside

While EKJ has been at the head of the construction project in collaboration with ACT Architects and SWECO Architects, DEKO has supplied and installed glazed partition solutions for the interior. Solutions that not only contribute to raising the light level significantly, but also complement the beautiful, well-preserved elements from the architecture of the past.

Surrounded by original, curved window sections, wooden beams in the ceiling and raw brick walls, the offices on both floors are framed with DEKO FG Nature fully glazed partitions, which have a minimalist design that allows the building's characteristic charm to stand out. The warmth from the wooden partition profiles and the matching wooden doors flows through the premises and creates a nice contrast to the building's raw, industrial elements.

The door solutions are made with a top panel, which adds a wow factor to the solutions and gives the interior a majestic touch that rightfully belongs to the culturally historic building.
